Awards season is one of my favorite times of year,culminating with my favorite event, Oscar Sunday! While I don’t have to choose a gown (sigh), I do get to watch from the comfort of my own living room, cocktail (or mocktail) in hand, ready for my close up (to the tube)! After the event, I can gawk at the beautiful celebrities in the PEOPLE Magazine 2013 Oscars Double Issue, which hits stores March 1! This is almost as fun as watching the shows! I’m already a big fan of People Magazine, so the 2013 Oscars DOUBLE issue is a must! They do an incredible job at showcasing the red carpet arrivals–one of the best parts of the event!

Best Actor in a Leading Role Nominee:
This movie is genius, and this man is a genius. Did you know he was in character the entire duration of filiming? Love the ‘method’ actors!
Best Picture Nominee:
Although I’m dissapointed that Ben Affleck wasn’t nominated for Best Actor or Director, I am really excited that Argo was for Best Picture. An amazing true story!
Best Actor and Actress in a Leading Role Nominees:

How can I resist Bradley Cooper’s amazing blue eyes performance in Silver Lining Playbook? Jennifer Lewis is also fantastic, and you may remember this talented actress from The Hunger Games.
Best Actress in a Supporting Role Nominee:
She is one of my all time top actresses–way back since Gidget, Norma Ray, Steel Magnolias, and more–love her! Her performance in Lincoln is riveting and flawless!
Of course no awards show would be complete without the Red Carpet Fashion! I can’t wait to check out the celebs in their gowns in People Magazine’s Oscars Double Issue!
